Psalm 11

Psalm 11
In the LORD I take refuge.

How then can you say to me: "Flee like a bird to your mountain. For look, the wicked bend their bows; they set their arrows against the strings to shoot from the shadows at the upright in heart. When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do?"

The LORD is in his holy temple; the LORD is on his heavenly throne. He observes the sons of men; his eyes examine them. The LORD examines the righteous, but the wicked and those who love violence his soul hates. On the wicked he will rain fiery coals and burning sulfur; a scorching wind will be their lot.

For the LORD is righteous, he loves justice; upright men will see his face.

In the Lord I take refuge. It is so good to be able to take refuge in the Lord; especially when we feel that we are in danger. The Psalmist says, "what can the righteous do?" when he faces with all kinds of danger...

Well, I think the righteous need not fear but the righteous can rest in the Lord's presence... There is no need to fear at all, for the Lord is our Refuge!!! We do not need to hide, we do not need to flee to the mountains... The Lord will protect us and deliver us!!!

If we truly are in Christ, the encouragement for today is that the Lord has made us righteous in Him. Hence, when we faces danger, we really need not fear because we know full well that God will deliver us. He will uphold justice in His land. We need to trust in the Lord & learn to rest in His protection.

God bless!!!
